Fear in this context means an awesome respect of a powerful being. I have been reading some of the online “discussions” on the recent Supreme Court ruling on Gay marriage. I have read many reasoned loving articles warning what the Bible says on the subject. And all of the responses that disagreed with that position were harsh, strident, self righteous, and many used profane language. The responders all thought they were absolutely right, while not accepting the fact that there was absolute Truth. The responders universally were more fearful of not being politically correct than engaging in a discussion about the Bible. PC was the god they feared not the true and living God of the Bible.
The responders argued with a profane religious fervor, and claimed the absolute moral high ground because of course they were absolutely tolerant. None of the responders used logic and none would engage in a reasoned and logic based discussion. In their thinking there was no way there could be another point of view. They were all absolutely devoted to their deity, PC Tolerance, and anyone who disagreed with them was called their words for their new devil, homophobe, islamophobe, racist, misogynist, and the worst of all intolerant. Their new god, political correctness, is tolerant for everything the Bible says is detrimental to man’s relationship to God, and intolerant of everything that God says is right and good. In this new religion, to violate PC is sin. And those that commit PC “sins” deserve swift and crushing punishment here on this earth. The PC god’s punishment, is usually profane, vindictive character assassination, being ridiculed out of relevance, marginalized, cast out of employment, and destroying your business. You see it was not “love wins” but violent relentless hate for righteous that won. It was this violent hate that scared its opposers from speaking out. A perfect storm.
This new PC God with its new head prophet, judge Kennedy will not rest until they have destroyed every last vestige of God that dares to have written against their PC dogma. Yes mark my words they will try and end tax exemption for churches, and Christian schools. They will try and regulate Home Schooling to mandate teaching acceptance of their new dogma. Will be no place to hide from the indoctrination of the state, its tyranny, and its high prophet Kennedy. Remember prophet Kennedy invented out of his imagination this ruling as a civil and fundamental right of the constitution. Even though this right was invented out of whole cloth and exists nowhere in the Constitution unfortunately it's currently our federal law. Institutions will be forced to teach prophet Kennedy’s new dogma, and those who don’t will be prosecuted under civil rights violations. It will be made criminal to teach Romans Chapter 1. I think this will happen because the "Internal Revenue Service (IRS) had already determined in 1970 that 'private schools with racially discriminatory admissions policies' were not entitled to federal tax exemption." Prophet Kennedy has already laid the ground work that those that speak out against homosexual marriages will be guilty of discrimination and thus, lose their tax exempt status. The Supreme Court upheld that IRS decision making it law in 1982.
I was inspired today. In Charleston South Carolina a Black Panther group gathered to hold a demonstration against the supposed white supremacist society. (Yes of course there is still a small minority of evil people who are prejudiced but it’s certainly not the overwhelming majority of our country.) First because of the absolute loving and godly response of the AME church instead of thousands showing up 50 showed up. Then as they marched to the AME Church a dear lady started singing Amazing Grace, others joined in, and totally took the entire fire out of the little protest which at that point had dwindled to 10 people. So if the reader has an awesome respect for the power of the true and living God then take heart. The Bible says when Satan comes in like a flood God raises up a standard against him. Be that standard.
Now a word of challenge to believers and churches. In the last 20 years about 20% of church members actually vote. So in a very real way we have brought this upon ourselves. What should we now do? We should double down in prayer, in love, and fidelity to God's word and get involved in the political process. First in prayer and love many in the church have accepted that Gay people are born that way, yet there is not a shred of evidence supporting this, second they do not accept what God’s Word says on the subject. (Yes, judgement begins at the house of God.) Second we should primarily be sharing the gospel which is the way of salvation. Third, some of us should run for office some of us should be involved in politics as a ministry but all of us should vote. Remember here in the United States “We the people” (Constitution) are the rulers referenced in the Bible. And in Jesus’ time Caesar was considered a god but Jesus claimed to be God and was establishing a Kingdom of God. Now if that was not bold and certainly political by today’s standards should we at least exercise our God give right to vote. Remember our rights come from “the Creator”. (Declaration of Independence.)
