Obama Deserves Impeachment Over the Iran Deal

The president “must certainly be punishable for giving false information to the Senate.”

One can imagine hearing such counsel from a contemporary United States senator on the receiving end of President Obama’s “full disclosure” of the nuclear deal with Iran. But the admonition actually came from James Iredell, a champion of the Constitution’s ratification, who was later appointed to the Supreme Court by President George Washington.

Iredell was addressing the obligations the new Constitution imposed on the president in the arena of international affairs. Notwithstanding the chief executive’s broad powers to “regulate all intercourse with foreign powers,” it would be the president’s “duty to impart to the Senate every material intelligence he receives.” Indeed, among the most egregious offenses a president could commit would be fraudulently inducing senators “to enter into measures injurious to their country, and which they would not have consented to had the true state of things been disclosed to them.”

A little over a year ago, I recounted Iredell’s cautionary words in Faithless Execution. They echo an instructive illustration offered by James Madison, the Constitution’s principal author: If the president were “to commit any thing so atrocious” as to fraudulently rig Senate approval of an international agreement, he would “be impeached and convicted.”

Is the Iran Deal the Worst Political Blunder of All Time?

Interestingly, the perfidy in Madison’s hypothetical involved summoning into session only senators favorably disposed toward a formal treaty that the president wanted approved. That was more plausible in the late 18th century: Under the Constitution, a treaty may be approved by “two thirds of the senators present” for the vote; and back then, senators coming from far and wide could not fly to the nation’s capital at the drop of a hat.

The hypothetical is telling as we consider Obama’s Iran deal. The Constitution makes treason a ground for impeachment, but it seems to have been outside Madison’s contemplation that a president would actually be so insidious as to use his foreign-affairs power to give aid and comfort to an enemy of the United States. On that score, note that as soon as Obama’s deal was announced, not only was Iran’s foreign minister vowing to continue funding jihadist terror; the regime’s “supreme leader,” Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was also extolling the continued Iranian call for “Death to America.”

Obama’s Iran Deal Is the Opposite of What He Promised the American People

Madison could not fathom a president who undermines the Constitution’s treaty requirements by the ruse of labeling a treaty an “agreement” or a “joint plan of action.” Still less could he imagine a president who resorts to chicanery in communicating the terms of an international agreement to the Congress. Such duplicity must have seemed inconceivable.

By sending our financial aid to the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, an organization that is black with menace, he feeds the Islamic serpent which seeks our ruin. His policies are not policies they are a disease; a plague bacillus fermented by his perception of America as a colonial and imperial power for whose numerous transgressions he has been annointed to make amends. This requires that our power and strength be diminished; it requires our aid be given to anti-Americans across the globe and south of our border; it requires bowing before oil sheiks and tyrants; it requires apology tours and speeches; it requires encouraging our enemies and discouraging our friends and it requires putting personal election goals above America's security. For our own citizens it requires higher taxes, crippling debts, lax immigration policies, the reckless endangerment of our security by attempting to transfer terrorist prisoners to our own soil; it requires the attempted abridgement of free speech; it requires the acceptance of Sharia Law as it creeps into our legal system; it requires the destruction of a free market economy and the middle class; it requires the exportation of talent and entrepreneurship and the importation of Mexican poverty and for our allies it requires the cold shoulder of indifference and neglect except in the case of Israel for which outright, bold-faced betrayal is the order of the day.

 
At best, Obama is an articulate incompetent and at worst he is a political Trojan horse to which our political history affords no parallel. He must be pole-axed.

Israel, Get Ready For More Obama Leaks

Why the administration is putting America's national interests at risk

JewishWorldReview.com | (TCSM) The Obama administration appears to be conducting an organized campaign of public pressure to stop Israel from attacking Iran's well-developed nuclear-weapons program. So intense is this effort, and so determined is President Obama to succeed, that administration officials are now leaking highly sensitive information about Israel's intentions and capabilities into the news media.

The president's unwillingness to take preemptive military action against Tehran's nuclear efforts has long been evident, notwithstanding his ritual incantation that "all options are on the table." Equally evident is his fixation to ensure that Israel does not act unilaterally against Iran, a principal reason why Washington's relations with Jerusalem are at their lowest ebb since Israel's 1948 founding.

Indeed, the only conclusion to be drawn from Mr. Obama's actions and rhetoric is that he fears an Israeli military strike more than he fears Iran achieving nuclear-weapons capability.

Current and former Obama advisers have repeatedly contended that a satisfactory negotiated outcome is possible, one where Iran will continue to develop a "peaceful" nuclear capability under international monitoring. How they can cling to this belief after years of Iran deceiving the International Atomic Energy Agency, going so far as to demolish buildings and excavate and remove thousands of cubic yards of rock and soil to try to conceal traces of radiation, is hard to fathom. Nonetheless, Team Obama still believes that Iran's military-theocratic regime is capable of holding Pandora's box but never opening it.

Equally disconcerting, administration officials, past and present, argue that a nuclear-capable Iran can be contained and deterred. Although Obama himself insists that containment is not his policy, I believe that assertion is true only in a limited sense: It is not his policy today. It is his policy for tomorrow, his Plan B, after the current sanctions and diplomacy fail to stop Iran. This is perhaps even more delusional than dreaming about Iran benignly pursuing "atoms for peace."

Deterrence against the Soviet Union worked precariously and unnervingly at times, with some very narrow escapes from catastrophe, only because of a confluence of calculations between Washington and Moscow. There is no realistic prospect that Tehran's religious autocracy will develop the same calculus of caution.

Still worse, even if Iran could be contained and deterred, there will undoubtedly be wider proliferation in the Middle East once Iran achieves nuclear weapons. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton herself has said that a weaponized Iran certainly means that Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Turkey, and perhaps others will seek their own nuclear capabilities. Thus, in a relatively short period, five to 10 years, there could be half a dozen or more nuclear-weapons states in the region.

Accordingly, stopping Iran from getting nuclear weapons in the first place must be America's top priority. The prolonged failures of diplomacy and sanctions have brought the United States to the point where, realistically, there are only two alternatives: Either Iran's mullahs get the bomb, or someone stops them militarily beforehand. This is the dilemma that leads Obama to pressure Israel against even thinking about the second alternative.

Three years of merciless private pressure against Israel having obviously failed to extract a commitment not to use force, the Obama administration looks to have determined two months ago to go public.

The first salvo was Defense Secretary Leon Panetta's assertion that Israel might well strike Iran between April and June of this year. Nothing like letting the target know when to expect the attack.

Next came leaks to an author at Foreign Policy magazine's Web site that Israel had secured basing rights from Azerbaijan, on Iran's northern border, for possible use during a campaign against Tehran's weapons program.

Launching strikes just a few hundred miles away from several likely targets — such as the Isfaham uranium conversion facility and the Natanz uranium enrichment plant — rather than having to attack from domestic airfields would give Israel both enormous tactical surprise and a critical leg up logistically.

One can assume with some confidence that Iran was not focused on the risk of Israeli bases in Azerbaijan, so hearing about it from US administration sources is a gift almost beyond measure. And one can also confidently assume that if that leak is not enough to make Israel bend its knee, more public revelations directed by the White House are only a matter of time.

Even now, Obama advisers could be revealing additional information to other governments behind closed doors. Perhaps we could ask Dmitri Medvedev.

Not only is this not the way to treat a close ally facing an existential challenge, it is directly contrary to America's national interests. Israel is not the threat, Mr. President: Iran is.

Plan: Create an Environmental Crisis that can only be fixed through "Sustainable Development" living. Create a cry for SOCIAL JUSTICE. (The collective is more important than the individual). Eliminate those that disagree. Use any means possible but try a peaceful take over first.

Premise: The earth is headed for destruction due to the abuse perpetrated by HUMANS. Humans are the enemy. It is the global plan to change the way we "live, eat, learn and communicate" because we must "save the earth."

Premise: The West especially America is the single biggest obstacle to fulfilling this Agenda.

Tools: Change vocabulary to softer words. Alter scientific data, Create UN Agencies like ICLIE to bring information to Government agencies to help implement plan. By-pass Congress and the Senate by using Executive Orders. Install communist/socialist Czars to head Agencies to implement Agenda 21.

Procedure to Execute Plan in America:

• Attack Western Capitalism ideology.
• Decimating the Free Market by making industry public.
• Create a crisis - Use doctored reports and faulty science. Example – Gulf report said no reason to have moratorium, report was altered.
• Create Environmental Crisis using altered Science – Climategate
• Lie to Congress and public about data and results.
• Remove Unalienable Rights (God given rights that can never be removed) in favor of Social Justice (rights granted by the Government).
• Change History Books depicting Founders as elite racists
• Make Nature more important than humans – declare land uninhabitable to save a species.
• Eliminate industry or over regulate – coal, oil, farming, fishing as too destructive to environment. No scientific data presented.
• Depopulate the earth = Plan calls for 1 Billion in Population – Allow Corexit in Gulf
• Declare fossil fuels as one of the greatest cause of climate change. No scientific data
• State America will run out of resources - America has more oil resources than all of the Middle East combined.
• DO NOT educate the public with facts and common sense. According to the latest world education survey Reading America is 17, math America is 37, Science America is 23
• Change history. Books are being rewritten – U of Kentucky is removing reference to Holocaust so they won’t offend Muslims.
• Eliminate private property. – Wetlands, Wildlands projects determine land is uninhabitable.
• Redistribute wealth from those who earn to those who do not. By keeping America energy dependent we are redistributing wealth to those countries hate America.
• Drain US economy by overloading entitlement programs and keeping borders open. 42% of population is at or below poverty and on food stamps.
• Separate people by class, by race and use that to pit one against the other.
• Use political correctness to create distractions so people will turn on each other instead of the enemy. Riots for money, social justice, union against non-union, race
• Declare opposition leaders unfit and make up stories to support. Call Tea Parties Racist.
• Eliminate the Middle Class through massive unemployment. Over regulation and taxation forces industry to outsource. Create an anti business environment.
• Eliminate the Seniors by reducing retirement accounts funds and home equity in the Recession. Force Seniors to rely heavily on Social Security. The pit seniors against juniors.
• Manipulate money – QE2, devalue dollar is just the same as putting a tax on items.
• Create shortages to force people to rely on Government – food shortage – create drought in California in the name of a 2 inch fish and destroy farm land.
• Create Government subsidies to give unfair advantage to those companies who embrace Agenda 21.
• Hire communist socialist Czars to run government Agencies.
• Take over healthcare industry in order to control population.
• Manipulate the housing market, Change banking regulations and demand affordable housing. Reward Bank Executives who push housing crash and foreclosures. By reducing housing prices, low income people through government programs can now buy houses.

• Use media propaganda to sell the plan. Promote Agenda 21 in bits and pieces so no one will ever see the truth. Over regulate so business will leave the country. Force famine. Force people into unemployment. Turn industry.

This list can continue for a long time as Agenda 21 has infiltrated every aspect of American life.

Regulation after regulation is put in place designed to destroy the American way of life and the Capitalist economic model.

As citizens became of aware of the original destruction, a new scheme focusing on the environmental was hatched. Vilification of humans who would chose continued development of a free World without environmental rules is their hammer. Corporate raiders who do not care where profits come from have been very willing to join corrupt politicians in public/private partnerships designed to eliminate freedom and private property. Due to unreasonable regulation we are confronted by the selling of American jobs for added profits from cheap forced labor. Today 42% of the American population is living at or below the poverty line and are receiving food stamps.

In order to accomplish the goal of Agenda 21, the fastest way is through the schools. Capture a generation of children by dumbing them down and you will have a group of sheeple who will follow the government by transferring loyalty from the family to the government. More money today is spent on Education than ever before but the content is designed to make and keep Americans DUMB

Why Education? Higher income people are usually educated. These people use more energy and more resources. Higher education increases the threat to sustainability. The truth is secondary, therefore suppress it, twist it and tell half. It does not matter as long as you get the desired results. Dummies do not ask WHY?

One thing we do know for certain, Agenda 21 is based on ideologies that have already failed, have not been tried or are not proven. The phony science involved in "GLOBAL WARMING" has more potential to destroy American Freedom, Innovation and Prosperity than any other plan ever presented. The devastation to the middle class and the poor is unprecedented as the rise of energy costs and all products connected to petroleum escalates and will consume their income.

It is time to put our American house in order. It is time to tell the American people the truth. Only when defunding these unconstitutional rogue Government Agencies, non Government agencies and the UN took place, will America recover.

Employed people pay mortgages, buy Health Insurance, support charities pay taxes and spend money. Agenda 21 is the thread that makes every policy in America today make sense. Read it. Share it, Talk about it and tell Congress. It's time to stop buying our way into the hearts of people who hate America.
